Epson Raw works on mac OS X Mavericks (sometimes)

I was not so surprised to find the old Epson Raw software program I like to use for black and white processing of raw files from my Epson RD1 refused to work with the mac OS V Mavericks operating system on my Macbook Pro, as according to the explanation that popped up in a big box on my screen it is not compatible with this version of Mac OS X... so I got quite a surprise when I reloaded the program and... it worked!

Hello there

How did you get it to install? I downloaded the last version (1.3) and I still got the error message that the installer would not let me load it. Any assistance wold be appreciated.

The installer is a PPC program. So either you have to use an OS X version which supports PPC or has a bundled Rosetta support. An easier solution would be if someone sends you the final installed .app-Package as a ZIP-file.
