As I've just updated my computer to the latest Mac Mini - I've discovered, that my Epson R2400 does not work properly with Yosemite, because I am unable to select paper type or access advanced B&W mode... Looks like the usual trick of the IT industry aimed at making you upgrade.
So I've decided to upgrade, and Epson has just announced a new generation A3+ printer: SC P600, which suposedly will have better tonal range and print faster - the problem is, it seems it is not shipping yet anywhere, despite the announcement that it will be available at the beginning of November.
Has any of you had a chance to get one, and if so, what are the impressions?
Thanks
Marek

Epson UK have said they'll send me one for review when it's available, but didn't have an ETA...
I've got to send the V850 scanner I've just reviewed back this coming week, so I'll ask.
Having looked at most of their printers over the last few years I'm not expecting huge changes compared to say the R3000, but if you were moving up from a 2400 I'd expect the differences (with a well set up printer) to be much more noticeable.
The new one should give some indications of what we'll see when the 3880 is moved to the newer print head technology (Epson have suggested that the new stuff will appear over the next year or so).

Also have several Famous online retailers in Germany this printer in offer, but with open delivery. I think it is not simply to obtain an independent test. I saw this printer on the Epson stand at Photokina, but he's gone down in general information noise.

After a bit of a wait, I've had an SC-P600 here for a few weeks (went back today :-( ) and have written up quite a detailed review.
Hope it's of some interest!
