Epson Store out of New RD-1

The Epson store is not showing any new ($2999) RD-1 for sale.
Could this be the end of the RD-1 or are they just out of inventory?

It's been periodically out of stock and back in stock over the past several months.

Both still there at 8:30 AM EST. New in stock for usual ridculous price and re-furb listed but out of stock.
