I have this guy and love it. It came with a slide and 35mm adaptor. I am now using 120 film and need an adaptor.

Anyone know if any other epson 120 size neg holders wil work?

where to get them?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as a fellow owner, I can assure you that the V300 is designed for 35mm (and smaller) negatives only. You'll notice the transparency portion of the lid isn't wide enough to cover the 120 format, so adaptors wouldn't help much.

The V500 does MF.. But

While the V500 does Medium Format, be aware that the film holders that come with the V500 are inadequate. It's advisable to purchase the Betterscanning holders with ANR glass. Figure roughly another $100. The V500 can be found for anywhere from $150 (dicounted) to $200.

Does it do a decent job on 35mm? B&H has them for $90 - which is pretty cheap already! PM'd.

I bought my V300 before Christmas from Amazon for $75 with free shipping. This is my first time scanning negatives, so I am still sorting out the settings. So far, I am happy with it.

V300 does pretty good with negs and slides as well as prints.

I gave mine to my daughter who wanted it to herself anyway, and bought myself a V500. I guess I'll need the additional items listed above in this thread.

Uh oh.

I bought and use David's V300 and it works far better than I thought it could.

But, I just bought a Ansco Speedex, a 120 reel and...
