Here's a scan of the v500, ilford xp2 (120) film and silverfast SE. I am not entirely sure if I am happy with the v500, I get a lot of blowouts and silverfast does not support ice.

If you are getting "blowouts" that aren't in the actual film, then you aren't making the correct pre-scan software adjustments.
I don't have a v500 here to confirm but are you sure Silverfast doesn't support ICE on the V500 and thus you just need to change a setting? I can't confirm because I don't have access to a V500 at the moment but even if Silverfast doesn't support ICE, that is a Silverfast issue, not a V500 issue.
Yes, you can get a better scanner but it is going to cost you a bunch more money. For the price, the V500 does a pretty admirable job. There is a learning curve though so take the time to make sure to find out how to get the most out of the scanner.

I have V750, before i hate it and didn't like the results, but now i managed to get better results and love it now, i can't force it to give me the best results ever to be in same quality of drum scanner or at least film dedicated scanner, so i will use it as it and it is great for web size shots.

In V500 I think ICE only works at color film, not BW. Its a hardware limit, not software.

Even when i scan B&W i choose color and i have that ICE option working.

I think it's probably some setting I am doing wrong, I have to experiment more. Most of the time I do not have this problem with the v500. For the price I am actually quite happy with the results. Silverfast does not support ICE because of licensing issues...
I am also considering upgrading to a v700, but I am not sure yet if that would be a big improvement. I would do that because of the higher DMAX.
