I can't help but imagine Tom A and Erwin sitting in a coffee shop now discussing Leica's next M.

Yes, a wonderful positive note on some sad news.

His writings were to me amazing. Agree with him or not, he share a lot of his knowledge with us and we are much better off for it.

Very sad. Just found out. I purchased all his books. Some were very difficult but always informative.

Very sad news indeed. I have many of his books and, like so many here, I always looked forward to his Tao of Leica blog updates. One of those people who influenced so many - even those of us who never met him.
