In order to try and get an interesting choice for as many possible travellers as we can, I've made a poll of the most supported cities from the discussion thread. The Baltic states do have a lot of mentions, but that covers a range of possible locations of course. North Africa was an interesting idea, but not so widely supported? Due to safety considerations I have left out Kiev and Sarajevo (also Kabul...).
The idea is to click once for your first choice and once for your second choice. That way if the votes are split on first choice but, for example, nearly everyone voted for the same second choice then we get a better overall decision. You may also like to explain your choices in order to persuade the rest of the group!

I am amazed and relieved that the choice of Gdansk appears to be so clear. That makes selection much quicker if it continues to be the case for, as an example, one more week then we probably have the location.

In order to bring some urgency to the decision process, so allowing everyone the benefits of early bookings and lower costs, how about suggesting that the location and weekends are chosen based on the polls at the end of Sunday 2nd.March ? In other words, next weekend. If anyone has a major objection please say so.

It looks as though we have a clear leader with Gdansk as the location.
However, there appear to have been thirty-two voters in this poll and 'only' eighteen in the poll for the weekend. Please can those who voted here and who are pretty sure that they intend to go, but did not vote in the weekend poll (maybe they have no problems for any weekend?) go over there and vote for each of their possible weekends - even if it is all of them. This request is only for serious Euromeeters please!
If anyone would like to amend their location votes by a post saying they are perhaps just 50% sure of being able to travel (for example) please do so here. There is no problem with that, circumstances change as we all know. I'm just seeking the clearest choice for those who will travel
