Ever a ZM 28 f/2 Biogon?

I think we're lucky to have the lenses we currently do. M lenses are such a specialized market, it's amazing the ZM line exists at all, in my opinion.

Now if the M9 stripped away it's 'red dot premium' was actually being sold to people who could use it to realize their photographic aspirations, I'm sure Zeiss lenses would fly off the shelves. Sadly, only the very rich, very well established photographers, and Seal, get to use it.

But the sonnar 1.5 competes with the VC Nokton f1.5. The Zeiss is a premium product so if they released a 28mm f2 - 1) it would be more expensive, 2) going on the current line ups, it would be heavier and bigger 3) 'better performance than the Ultron f2.

So the choice would be Leica - lots of money, 2) Zeiss less money and (hopefully) better than the Leica (distortion , resolution etc - 'cos its a newer lens), or the Ultron lighter build than the others but, a pretty good lens overall.
