I had a number of messed up erc's (leica and fsu) lying about that I just got sick of looking at, so I chucked them and darn it if it wasn't a bit liberating. My 7-year-old daughter was dismayed to find the leather bits in the trash and said "daddy you're not throwing away your Gordy strap, are you?" 🙂

A Gordy strap? I'll take it!

Throwing stuff away...yeah...that's a concept I've been trying to embrace.

You just close your eyes and do it, right?

I have thrown stuff out occasionally. Last time it was several ugly dented lens hoods that I never used, scratched up filters for B & W, an old bulb flash unit, and beat up aluminum series filter holders that don't fit any lenses I have.

BTW, anybody interested in a free Canon 135/3.5? I have a couple of these, and besides, it is a focal length I rarely use. Serial number places date of manufacture around 1950. This example has kinda ugly chrome, but the glass appears to be in fine shape. I also have a Canon V bulb flash unit, pretty good cosmetics, except for some plier marks on the the knurled knob that attaches to the camera. Also, two brand new Hoya UV filters in original boxes, 46mm, pitch 0.75. Lastly, two original copies of the manual for the Canon VT. All are available for cost of postage. Send me a PM if interested.

The 46mm filters have been adopted. Folding Canon V bulb flash unit and 2 original copies of the Canon VT manual are still available for the cost of postage.

Swap shops and flea markets get my attention. I don't know of an on-line flea market. At least on the great plains one can find all sorts of weird stuff at them. Some will even trade, so it is fun to try to swap with the vendors. could this work on line?

Well there's the replaceable film counter/winder knob (the 'sold seperately' piece, that I got conned out of I think) missing, so you need a Rollei that already has it, or else, my cord III is the wrong type for the version I bought.

I think it only works with flexs

I'll post an ad in the trade section in a moment

The only thing I throw away is flaking leather cases or unrepairable parts. If I throw away a part or accy it never fails that I will need it for a project.

Oh and free to a good home for the cost of shipping - a Hewlett Packard (or Packard Bell I dont remember) Diamond something something scanner. good scanner for paper-stuff, but it won't work with the mac dammit. Its something I wanna chuck out.

Oh and something else I wanna throw out - Dell Pentium4 2ghz (i think) tower pc!! It's taking up WAY too much room!
