Ambitious, but rubbish
Whatta camera, I'd love to have that. Is it really worth that much?

Low starting bid on that one; bet it ends over $1k.

Well, not to me, but I'm cheap. I guess we'll see - if it sells for that much, then I'd guess it must be worth it, at least to someone.

Leicashop in Vienna had one of these recently for about 200 eur. It's a very cute looking camera but I can't quite seeing myself paying $1000 for it.

It is, in spite of the stylish exterior, a average 6x6 folder, neither recently serviced (which would be a requirement on a top price user) nor cosmetically A grade for a collector. And it comes with the lower grade type of lens usually offered on coupled rangefinders - as such, a price $100 above the usual going rate for Heliar or 2.8 Tessar type folders makes me doubt that it will get sold.

I picked up one of these several months ago. The price being asked does seem a bit on the high side. Mine cost quite a bit less than that, and is in excellent condition.
They are quite nice cameras, with decent lenses. Not as heavy as an Iskra, nor a solid feeling as the Certo Six, more like a Super Ikonta III - still feels pretty well made though. The viewfinder is decent, with a decent RF patch, and like the Iskra and Certo, is a unit focus design. The ergonomics are pretty good too for an old folder.
They do seem quite rare outside of Japan.
As nice as it is, I'd still rate a good Iskra or Certo Six as better.
Here are a couple of examples from mine (click images for larger versions):

Looks like it went for more than it is really worth, what with a bad lens. You see these come up on ebay every few months. Certainly they are worth more than a non rangefinder, but not that much. Well, that's not true, somebody bought it.

Pardon me???
Pardon me???
Did not sell on the auction I looked at (the link above).....
Nor has it sold during the last half dozen times it's been listed over the past 2-3 months.
Where did you see it sell?
In fact, it's been relisted twice since the listing posted here. Here is the current listing.
Not coming off his price and not selling.

It must be that time warp that has been chasing me the last couple of parsecs.
I would have sworn I clicked on the link and saw it listed for $200 something and sold.
OK, I'm going to stick my head back in the sand for a while.
