Hello

I've played with the EVF finder on the GF1 at the store, and I'm only lukewarm on getting one. The jitter and overall "feel" of the EVF finder isn't appealing right away.

I put a 35mm finder on the GF1 and it seems to be the idea combination - LCD to check stuff like aperture, shutter, and the optical finder to compose.

What are other opinions out there?

I'm also going to be using manual focus lenses. Is that where the EVF will shine? The LCD seems pretty awkward for manual focus, in regards to jitter, and "look".

Thanks Fred

By the way, the finder I'm using is a Nikon RF 3.5cm bright line finder. It looks beautiful on the GF1.

I use a 35mm equivalent view finder on the EP1 and I love it. I have the 20mm and 17mm lenses and find I use the 17mm lens because I prefer the focal length. It seems to focus faster on the Olympus also. I am thinking about getting a 90mm Voigtlander viewfinder for the 45mm Macro lens.

Who makes the 45mm macro lens? Voigtlander?

I to am intrested in getting the EVF finder for the GF-1, but I also want to play around with manual focusing...

I am confused as to if I should get it.
How would an optical view finder work ???
Will an optical view finder work with manual focus with a GF-1 and the 20mm panny? How do you confirm focus with it?

Lots of questions

Thanks guys
