These look interesting, especially the iia or possibly the iib. My local camera shop is selling a iib with a pancolar and the Zeiss lenses seem cheap on the exakta mount. The lenses look good and the wlf nice. I could handle a preset lens under those conditions. Does anyone know of a good camera repair outfit for these in the UK or possibly Europe?

Not sure about repairshops in the UK. You are more likely to find an expert in Germany Home - fotoservice-olbrich
Keep in mind that each Exakta camera of that age needs new curtains, but they can be very smooth and silent in operation.

The lenses are really worth it. Especially the Pancolar, Sonnar 135 and Flektogon. You can even consider the 80mm Biometar. (But even the common 2.8 Tessar gives good results.

If you can't wait for the Exakta IIa or IIb to be back from restoration, get an Exa 1a or 1. They come with a limited speed range, no self timer, but still make great photo's with their simple shutter.
