Excellent light seals from Jon Goodman

Did my first SLR with light seals from Jon Goodman who is a regular here. After getting a mint condition Minolta SRT-201(4th generation) with 50mm lens for $20 at a flea market, it needed new seals. A PM to Jon and a couple days later I get the seals(enough to do several cameras). Nice instructions too. I had removed the seals a day before so in 15minutes I had the new ones installed. This is MUCH easier to do on this camera than the Canonette GIII's I have been doing. Jon has a special kit for them I recomend, getting the old ones out is the hard part.
A good winter project might be to order a couple kits of his foam and start fixing up all your old cameras on the shelves.

I would second the recommendation for Jon and his kits. Easy to install. (Much easier than getting the old ones out. 🙂 Warp speed service too! 🙂

Yep - a good tip is to do the seals before they go gunky and need replacing ....
