I have used these guys a few times, and I highly recommend them. They were generous enough to custom-cut leatherette for my modified Mamiya Super 23 (see profile image). In doing so, however, there was an error in my communication to them about something that had to be done to one of the leatherette pieces (I believe I had required a hole to not be cut out of the leatherette in spite of the pattern I sent them). In any case, they promptly fixed the issue, and shipped me a new piece of leatherette, cut to my request, free of charge.

Yes, it is! Keep in mind it is fairly orange, though it definitely does look like a "natural" tone.

I have been very happy with the black Morocco real leather skin from Cameraleather, but not enthused about waiting months to receive it . Does anyone know if they have gotten their act together again on delivery interval?
Cheers,
Dez
My last Cameraleather order that I received earlier this year fit very poorly. After a really long wait. Done with that..

If you have a scanner, it's quite simple actually.
First, I tore the leatherette off of my Mamiya. If you know anything about the material they used, you'd know it is a very malleable rubber. I let the material sit for a day to lose its stretch, which had been incurred while taking it off the camera.
Next, I slapped the leatherette in my scanner, along with a ruler. This step is crucial - not only for my own sake, but also for Hugo Studio's. When they receive my template, they need to confirm its scale. These things sometimes get lost in translation, so a measure within the file itself can help sustain accuracy.
I then traced the image in Photoshop, cleaned up the edges, and finally sent it off as a black/white PDF. Remember that Hugo Studio uses a laser cutter, so a binary black and white (negative/positive space) image will do. I also printed the file off for myself, and cut out the template just to make sure it fit. Some of the areas I didn't want to be cut out (that I painted over in Photoshop) reappeared in the PDF on Hugo Studio's end. Despite the issue it caused - an incorrectly cut piece of leatherette - the problem was resolved quickly. Their level of communication is fantastic!

Doesn't look like he has it for the M9-P (lost the nice vulcanite when Leica replaced my sensor, and they don't use it anymore)....

Hey guys,
I'd like to order a replacement for my M4-2 from Hugo as the original plasticky leatherette has started to fall off the camera.
As I would like to try some real leather replacement this time, wanted to ask if anyone already went with their 'RECYCLED LEATHER Vintage' or 'RECYCLED LEATHER Angus'. I'm wondering how they compare; the first one seems more matte and texturized, while the second resembles a bit vulcanite.

Recover my M2
When I bought my M2 it had a green skin, not really my style. So, I decided to redo it. I found Hugo's through this thread and just wanted to say I'm very happy with the service and results.
