I took a chance and ordered a Thumbs-Up knock off from Fotodiox for my X-Pro1. It is well finished and fits the shoe with a minimal amount of play
so I don't have to worry about damage to the flash shoe, but it is secure enough not to come loose. The size to order is Grip size "B". An additional benefit is that it shields the EV adjustment wheel from inadvertent movement. Great accessory!

Got the one from Lensmate for my X-E1 and it fits perfectly.
Nice finish, silicone bumpers against the camera body and friction strip under the shoe mount to keep it safely in place!

i took the screw/extra plate off the lensmate thumb thing and it works perfectly...and no need to carry/lose that little tool they supply and it comes off easily for flash use.

Hi Joe,
The new version of the Lensmate item does not have the screw any more. I had it on order when it came out some weeks ago. I always thought the old screw version might damage the hot shoe contacts.
Instead there's a rubber (silicone?) surface gripping the hot shoe.
Comes off easily but sits nicely when in use.

Tried my X-E1 Lensmate thumb rest (the new version) on a Fuji X10 yesterday, and it fits perfectly. Does not foul the mode dial, sits tight againt the body and no obstruction to the command dial.
What's more, as it is a bit longer than the dedicated X10 / X20 model it fits my hand better. It's just at the right spot where my thumb expects it to be.
Just mentioning this for those interrested

Just been informed by them it is now (again) available for pre order @ $59.95 for 14/8/13 dispatch. My dilemma is it is certainly cheaper than a thumbs up but I can try a thumbs up before I buy one here in UK but obviously not the lensmate. Decisions, decisions.

i've got the TU one (w/cold shoe on top) for m9 for my x-e1. i don't like how the set screw adds stress and actually expands the hot shoe brackets. not using the set-screw, it has actually become loose. i think i'll pick up another, but shorter one. the lengthy ones seem to be what twists it around in the hot shoe.
