I thought with the combined years of film developing experience we have on this forum that somebody could give me a definitive answer to what cause this .

This is the 3rd roll and the second batch of dev , first batch mixed a week ago , did two rolls no problems , 3rd roll all images look like first image posted. Disposed of that bottle of dev. and poured a new 500ml batch and did the another roll ( no good ) poured the rest of the gal out mixed up a new batch last night , shot a roll this afternoon , dev it some min. ago and turned out like the last. I'm doing everything the same as I did the first 10 rolls and didn't have any problems really . I ask again is the dev bad ????? :bang::bang::bang: The negs are not transparent . the last photo shows an old neg and the one just done min. ago . the emulsion side is sage green , except where the images are . ( well it was when it was still wet it is all black now )

Another vote for fixer....
Don't worry go , re-fix and re-wash....and you will see that problem will be solved...
The same thing happened to me...

Thanks everyone , I just mixed some new fixer and reaffixed and washed and it saved them all even the ones from yesterday and the day before . My original fixer was only a month old . I had been using the same 500 ml for 10 rolls to see how long it would last and never had a problem, and that was just 4 days ago. When this first started happening I got new fixer out of the two gallon bottle that I had made originally was using it , it worked up until then so never expected it . I have since mixed up to pacs of Microdol thinking it was the problem , so i poured it all out thinking it was old . I then mixed up the legacy pro replacement for it about two hrs ago and the same thing happened , I was pissed. What a terrific learning experience , one I'll never forget.

Tom .

stay tuned I show what I photography about 144 times , before ya'll figured it out for me .
