Anyone here have any experience with the Cosina Voigtländer 28/35 minifinder?

What do the 28 and 35 brightlines look like?

Do both brightline sets have lines for vertical parallax?

Is the eye relief atrocious, or merely bad? (FWIW, I don't wear glasses)

Anyone want to sell me one for really cheap?

I'm not selling mine anytime soon, but I can heartily recommend it. Mine sits atop my Nikon S2.

Decent/good eye relief for a glasses-wearer, about the same as the camera's main viewfinder. Size of your nose is probably the limiiting factor here.

Image magnification is 0.5 (half life-size)

Both frames show verticle parallax lines. The whole viewfinder image, edge-to-edge, is about 25mm field of view.

Weird annoyance: it's too "square" -- it's not shaped like a frame of film. So it's very easy to see the top and bottom of the 28mm frameline, but I have to wiggle back and forth to see the left and right edge of the 28mm frameline.

very pleased with my 28/35

very pleased with my 28/35

I use it mainly on my IIIg and sometimes on the R3A, but usually just for 35mm, I don't own a 28, but I can see what Vince was talking about in respect to the shape. that being said, it's small, bright and worth it.

I'll second (or third) what has alerady been said. Eye releif is not great on the 28 framlines, I have to search a little to see the sides. But it is crystal clear and bright and so unobtrusive on my iiig that it stays on all the time, even when I am using a 50. It feels like a natural part of the camera. Very cool and reccomended.

Good you do not wear glasses .... because that finder scratches glasses.
That;s the only minor point i can think of. And it has noticable barrel distortion which makes it sometimes difficult to keep lines straight. Otherwise a great little finder!
