Hello all. I've just found a cardboard box full of Expired (1994) kodacolor gold 200 in 110 size. I had a quick count and there are about 14 sealed 5-packs of 24-shot films, with some singles and possibly doubles etc.
the box was at the back of a charity shop I volunteer in and I was busy so I couldn't get a full inventory.
Is anyone interested?
I'm not completely sure how to go about selling this on their behalf. Would it be best to get them to bung it on ebay and for me to post a link here?
Would it be best for people to send me any money via paypal? etc.
Also, what would be a reasonable price to charge (P+P inc)?

Does no-one want any of this film?
I wouldn't expect to charge more than £3 or £4 + P+P per 5-pack.

There's people out there who'd grab this, specially the Lomo crowd and some who like 110. Perhaps the whole lot would be a bit of a stretch, but a listing of 5 packs would do the thing with multiple buyers.Does no-one want any of this film?

Thanks for the reply prest_400.
I'm sure you're right about not be able to sell all of it to one person and I thought there'd be members here who would've been interested in buying some, but it doesn't really seem all that popular.
Anyway, do you think I should get them to sell it via ebay? Have you any idea how much the ebay fees would be?
I've been looking at the minolta 110 zoom mk1 and mk 2 slrs. Apart from the non-interchangeable lenses they seem much better than the pentax auto 110 and auto 110 super.
I'm not sure how long the shop will keep the film for as most of the time there is limited space.

I would be all over this but I live in California.
FYI I use the Rollei A110. It is super high quality with an extremely sharp lens that you focus (no fixed focus stuff here). Very compact too. I like it so much I bought 2!
IMO the point of 110 film is that the cameras can be very small. Which is why I do not like the Minolta 110 Zoom, especially the 2nd one. It is a large camera. The Pentax Auto 110 is very nice.

Curiously all I think about 110 users is on the other side of the Pond. Someone that's a seller might pick it happily. I was thinking of the Film Photography Project. They sell odd and old films and seem like the perfect kind to take care of it, although shipping to US all of this might get expensive, could ask them.
There must be an UK based equivalent but for the sake of it can't think about it.

Huss, I've just done a quick google of rollei a110 and they look quite 'pretty'. I can't see any way of controlling anything though?
The lens is pretty good, judging from those pics.
Prest_400, you're right a bout a seller wanting it, tomorrow I'll be taking the film to the 'Real Camera company' in Manchester who want to buy it. I may have made a tiny mistake in only asking for £1 per roll, but I suppose it's too late now.
No idea how much they'll be charging for it.

Exposure is automatic, focus is controlled with a sliding lever on the front of the body under the lens, and in the VF you will see a focus scale. It is a superbly made camera and at the time I think was the most expensive 110 made. And it feels like it!
1 pound per roll is ok as you are selling it to a reseller with overhead. If you sold it on ebay, you'd get 2-3 times that amount. Lomo currently makes excellent 110 film which sells for $18 for a 3 pack of fresh film. My examples were taken with that.

Huss, thanks for the info about your A110.
Does the lomo (tiger?) film have a slightly blue caste?

The real camera company now has the 110 film. I've looked in their ebay shop but I can't find any mention of it, so either it's already gone, they've not listed it yet or they have listed it but it's not in any bit I've found. The latter wouldn't surprise me as several ebay shops list things in the places I'd not expect to find them. lol.
Forgot to say that if you're in Britain and want to try 110, Max Speilmann process and print it for £12.99.
Sorry about the 'advert' (and they ain't even paying me!) but someone may find the info useful.
