Just got around to testing some expired film. Fujicolor NPS 160 professional which I picked up with a load of darkroom equip from the deceased estate of a commercial photographer. It was always refrigerated.

It ranges in age but all around late 1998 to 2000. It's all 220 as well. Developed with Tetenal C-41 and a Jobo CP2 and tank / reel. Shot with Bronica SQ A and 80/2.8

Nothing special in the subject matter but looks fine to me. looks like I just increased my film stock by about 50 rolls 🙂

Good stuff. Since my first bath of expired film I hardly buy anything else anymore. With a bit of exposure compensation you are usually ok. But don't let the secret out, or others will want to buy expired film too ;-)

Congrats as well. I snagged a treasure of expired 120 and 220 films from a retired gentleman who was 'downsizing' his place and wasn't shooting film anymore.

My only problem is I can't seem to use it up fast enough!

Here's a shot, taken with a 1940's Bilora Box camera, using Vericolor III 120 film expired in 1988. Tetenal C-41 home-developed. Epson v700 scan.

Great results! I'm dreaming of finding someone who wants to get rid of their old film stock like that. I've seen bulk rolls of colour neg 35mm on eBay but I've not yet bought any because it is difficult to know how they've been stored.

Are there any companies that specialise in buying up and selling expired bulk film?
