Expired developers

Hello all.

I need a little help.

I was given the following developers that are expired but unopened and have been stored in a cool place not exposed to the sun. I am totally fine with what I am currently using, Rodinal, but I wouldn’t mind trying out a few other ones just for the fun of it.

- Tetenal Neofin Blue: 4 50ml glass bottles. All four bottles have a printed number that is not a part of the normal sticker on the bottle, 538010.

- Spur HRX part A & B: Both plastic bottles are in a sealed bag with an April 6th, 2016 date.

- Spur NHC: Plastic bottle in sealed bag, no date.

What do you guys think? Worth trying out or just dump it?

I was just told that all of the above have been sitting on a shelf for the past five years.

Can you spare some test rolls of film? I'd be inclined to see if it is still good. The storage conditions were ok, and they're all unopened...
If any we're powder, I wouldn't hesitate.

I think I am going to try it. Nothing to lose since I bulk load. I'll make some 24 frame rolls 🙂

Well, the Tetenal Neofin Blau worked.
Granted I tried it on some heavily expired film as well as a weird film Orwo TF12d and everything looks okay. All films were low ISO. I will post some images once everything is dry etc.
