Expired Film (very)

I've got a Komaflex 4x4 slr on the way. I've ordered Efke 100 to run through it.
Digging around, I've found an old roll of Verichrome Pan 127 that was given to me by someone at work. It expired in 1970.

I've shot a lot of old cameras, but not much in the way of old film. What should I expect? Is there any exposure compensation that might be prudent?

VP was ASA 125 right? Try ASA 64. Let it steep in Rodinal 1:100 for an hour unmolested, a.k.a. Semi-Stand development.

Ok, I can go with the iso adjustment (your memory serves, it's 125 ASA)...but I don't have any rodinal laying about.
It's going to have to be barry's two bath, diafine, or ilfosol-s.

Fog is a problem with old film. HC-110 is the one that reduces fog. There is a guy on Photo.net, Gene M, that does a lot of found and expired film and that is what he uses. Although, I can't see that Rodinal wouldn't be just as good.

I shot a roll of Tmax 100 this summer that I found in my wife's camera bag that expired in 1994. Turned out fine. Of course, 1970 is quite awhile ago, isn't it? Will be interesting if nothing else!

I have 2 bricks of Tmax 400 pro that's still in the plastic wrapper and has always been in the fridge since I bought it...It expired in 2001...I'm going to shoot it soon and am asking for developer suggestions...
I have D-76, Rodinal and HC-110...what would you use???
And one more question...How would rate it's speed???
