Expired Un-opened B&W Chems

I have some bottles of Kodak developer and fixer that hasn't been opened but is several years past expiration. What is the best way to know if this stuff is still any good? I also have some Rodinal, one bottle never opened, and another used a few times. Same for this stuff.

I'm about to start up developing my own again and thought about dumping this stuff and starting fresh.

The fixer and Rodinal should work - other developers I'm not sure about.

As mfogiel said. Rodinal will work for years after opening, i have an almost empty 500ml bottle that i still work on and that was opened 6 or 7 years ago. I keep it in the fridge which might help.

I have used Kodak TMax RS that was at least 2 years past expiration date before i opened and it worked as well as new fresh developer. It was stored in room temperature.

Test a few exposures from a roll before you commit important work.

Dont worry about the Rodinal, it will be fine. The kodak stuff will be ok if it is HC-110 syrup. If in doubt, try a test film.
