The mask doctors were wearing during the plague in Venice (they were putting medicine in the long snout). I photographed the mask together with a photo of it. And then I reiterated the process a couple of times to give the appearance of infinite regress in the photo. I call the photo 'The infinite regress of Dr Death'.

My current avatar is a favourite shot of some grafitti from a project I started in Edmonton, but never finished.
I suppose if I had had a goal for the project when I started, it might have gone somewhere...

Mine is just a picture of where I keep my two most used cameras, my Leica D2 and my Voigtlander R3A when not in use. I find if I keep them out I use them more as opposed to storing them in one of my bags. The mouse pads just seem to be nice ways of displaying cameras.

Shot taken mid 1995 when I was still using my Pentax SLR. The other person in the frame is an old friend of mine - shoots with a Pentacon Six and has the most amazing collection of lens' he picked up in the former East Germany during the early 90's.
We were visiting Durham (I think?) and using a mirror to view the vaulting above us. - Just an unusual shot.
BTW I had longer hair in those days............

I work in x-rays as an art form and sell images through art galleries. I've done this for about fourty years and in the past two years I've started promoting it. I just thought I would see where it would go and now the sales are major part of my business. The image is of my IIIC Leica.

Hi, first post, see if I get this right. My avatar is a pic taken in Monschau, Germany. I liked the structure of the wall, sun at a low angle. I included my shadow and felt it made a good avatar for the symbolism: the photographer is in the picture, even if he's not on it.
