Explorer 9 update - now black text when posting comments

Just did an update to Internet explorer 9 and now when I post a comment the text in the comments window comes up black and it does not recognize my text when I post it.

I don't think it is isolated to my PC cause I tried on my friend's PC with IE 9 and the same thing happened.

I'm writing this post in Mozilla Firefox. At least that works!

Any ideas what (internet options) settings have changed with the update to Explorer 9 or if RFF compatibility is screwed for good on Explorer 9?

Can't add to resolution of issue, but I know IE is a good tool for downloading FF. After that life is good

I have the same problem with Firefox, so it is not the browser. My laptop works fine for posting but I cannot post from my desktop computer. very frustrating.
