I know I have negetives I have over or under exposed just want to know what each looks like by some expert photographer. Having a hard time figuring out the best fstip and sutter speed with my Mamiya 645 or my Olympus OM-1. Want to learn by doing it manually
Regards
clc🙂 and also at times :bang:

Look at the negative. The parts of the negative that are the dark toned things in the photo will be nearly clear in the negative, but they should still have detail visible. If not, the film is underexposed. If the dark toned areas are not almost clear (with detail) but are darker, then the film is overexposed. The parts of the film that are the light toned subject matter will be dark in the neg, but should not be so dark they lack detail. If they do, the film is either overexposed or overdeveloped.
