external viewfinder for 28mm lens

Thank you for all advices, exerience sharing ... I wear glasses and can't see 28mm frame lines with my .72 M camera. Just see .85X viewfinder magnifer on internet .... believe it will be more convenient than an external viewfinder ... but are they good in optcal quality?

Pls. find the links .... http://cgi.ebay.com/New-E-Clypse-0-...QQptZLHQ5fDefaultDomainQ5f0QQsalenotsupported

they aren't cheap and they're not particularly small, but the Zeiss viewfinder is simply stunning to look through -- after looking through a friend's 28 vf, I wish Zeiss made my eyeglasses!

You can get Zeiss lenses for your glasses! (just don't expect a wider field of view or better bokeh)

... forget it. 🙁 I had the 0.85x de-magnifier (wanted to use it with a 0.85x M6TTL to get a 0.72x magnification) and all you get is "tunnel-vision", waisted money (from my experience).

I used to have the Zeiss 25/28 and Leica 21-24-28 Zoom-finder. While both are oversized and to expensive, the Zeiss was really bright and had the advantage that one can look outside the frame-lines, the Leica Zoom-finder was only over-sized but could be locked (very useful regarding the size). I have sold both and now use the CV 28/35.
