F.Y.I. for Advance/Rewind Lever

At dinner last night my II f started to get ill. It wouldn't advance unless I pushed the rewind/advance lever all the way to the stop piece by the "A" on the cover. It didn't stay at full advance but would go back about an 1/8th of an inch toward rewind. Then the camera wouldn't work.

I discovered the screw (slotted) that holds the lever in place was loose. Tightening it down solved the issue.

Thought I would present my experience and solution here in hopes it might help someone else with the same issue.

I had the exact same thing happen to me recently; thought the camera was broken then breathed a sigh of relief to find such a simple fix.

Similar "fixes" have occurred with my cameras and it is always exhilarating.
I love simple fixes and anything that helps keep my stuff going.

Yes, I agree, simple many times works for me.

I really like LTM cameras!
