F3HP does Arista Premium 400

Shot these cars at Dick's Classic Car garage in San Marcos TX using my Nikon F3HP w/28mm f2.8D. Arista Premium 400 rated at 800 (needed the shutterspeed inside). Developed in Xtol 1+1 for 10 min, normal agitation.

How do you solve the film curling problem? I find this film and Tri-X are nightmare for scanning, HP5+ is flat after developing.

I have some plastic clips from Freestyle and hang the film to dry. It curls, no doubt about it but I find it's not as bad across the width of the film as it is end to end. I cut it in 5 frame strips after it dries and my Nikon Coolscan V seems not to mind. After resting the strips overnite or so in a 3-ring binder filled with printfile sheets, it's not too bad.

I can see that I'll have to try Xtol on my Tri-X, been using DD-X and it doesn't look great (could be the photographer, of course!). Those look really good.
