I broke down and did it. I bought a F4S/MB21 today! My friend has a F4S, and I really liked the viewfinder and info display.

I have the glass for it [20/2.8, 24/2.8, 28/2.0, 85/1.4] since I have 2 x F3HPs

I will probably receive it in 10 days or so. I am looking forward to using this camera and having a better viewfinder info. I do not have any regrets.

Hi Mark,

Congrats on your new F4S. The F4/F4S is my favorite slr body. I have a pair of them, and I never had an urge to go beyond the F4 in the F-Series evolution. I once had a pair of F3HPs, but I sold one of them after I bought my first F4S. Here is a picture of my F4S bodies.

My father has one that he never uses... I used to borrow it when I was a teenager in 90's. Maybe I'll express interest when I see him next :p

May 19th. I picked up my F4S/MB21. What a machine. The viewfinder is a dream compared to my F3HP. [I still love my F3HP] What can I say, Aperture Priority, 3 metering settings, a nice easy exposure compensation dial. I am very happy. I will run some film through it on Friday afternoon.

Happy shooting! An amazing machine and a pleasure to shoot, what with all the dampening, and the smoothness of its operation.
