Originals scans, untouched - all handheld
F6 - 28-75 F/2.8 @ 28mm - 1/200s - F/8 (also a hint of flash SB-22s "just to try")

F6 - 50 F/1.4 - 1/30s - F/2 + 0.7 EV (so you can imagine how could be already "washed" colours)

F6 - 50 F/1.4 - 1/100s - F/4.5 - one of the girls who shot with me at that fashion meeting the other week - with so much white, I'd say the F6 matrix did a great job

Ciao John
it's really a pity not being able to post the model shots due to the usual legal stuff.. they are much better than this ! It's really amazing how a such colourful film is so respectful of skin tones when under a studio flash!

Dino ... a couple of questions about your F6?

The metering is obviously superb because you can't argue with the exposure on that third shot ... it's perfect! How would the camera be in a very low light stuation like a night club or similar using 1600 film with a fast lens and relying on the matrix metering for auto exposure?

difficult to say: experience makes me avoiding such cases... Not because of reliability but just for "common sense". Usually I use spot metering or center weighted if lighting is too tricky and I have to shoot handheld.

I'd invite you to look at those galleries, though (probably the more indicated could be the 2nd):

1) our local church, fuji superia 1600 all F6 + 50 mm and handheld

2) same church - Ektachrome 64T - tripod - F6 + Nikon 17-35 or Tamron 28-75

3) I recently shot (but with D700) a theatrical show where only the stage was lighted most of the shots were thus iso3200 and center weighted / spot metering (you will understand easily why): http://italy74.smugmug.com/gallery/7545913_5Nvst

Thanks
I hoped you liked it. I always liked that X-XII century church and took the time to shoot around december.
