A somewhat humouress auction question and answer session from local online auction site - trademe.This was for a Leica copy and the first post points out the fact that it is a copy. A selection of questions and answers from the auction follow...dont get to see this much with e-bay.

please get someone who knows the feel of a leica to look at it in the flesh...

Not nice comments from you! hayden owns at least 20 leicas, he has been using and collecting them for years. He is retired over 6ft tall and he drives a 911 turbo porshe, perhaps you should just get on selling your fathers lifetme of treasures and keep you comments to yourself. funnily enough when my mum-in-law read the Q&A's last night she commented that a lot of the people sounded a bit 'negative' ..... we got a laugh out of it even if she didn't realise the connotation....bless her heart 8:56 am, Wed 19 Dec

ha ha...i have a friend from Sydney who comes over to @@@@@ once a year ...he has a 50's vintage LEICA...it is the real thing and he got it 10 years for $500..a lot of money back then..but everytime he brings it out at airshows , vintage racing events ,art deco wkd , some camera geek will come up and tell him its a faked russian copy...you can't win3:24 pm, Fri 21 Dec
