Was just recommended Fama Makina Camera Repair in Florida to have my M3 CLA'd.

Has anyone heard of him? Any experience?

I don't know. I've spoken to a seller on EBay "wizcam" who offers Plaubel Makina 67/670 service, he's in Hallandale, FL. He seemed honest and straightforward in talking with him, but I've not done business with him. Same guy?

I spoke with him a little bit more. He ran a camera repair shop in New York and retired to Florida. He works on cameras and lenses in his spare time for friends and through recommendations, but otherwise he’s retired.

Sure sounds like you ae describing Fima Binder. If so I used him recently for my Zeiss Ikon Tenax II. He was the only person who would cla it. He did a good job and was fast. Shipped it back in good working order in just a few days.

Good to know. I was going to send him my M3 but went with Youxin as I’ve had good experience with him in the past.

Perhaps next time.
