I've heard of GAS, but I must have FAS (film acquisition syndrome). After scoring the 400UC at CVS, I made the mistake of checking on B&H's film specials while I was ordering something else. I don't often see 35mm on special there, so I thought it might be worth mentioning that Fuji NPZ 800 and Kodak Portra 160NC were on sale @ $4.00 for the grey-market rolls. 36 frames.

Also I noticed the non-special price for imported Sensia 36/100 is $3.29

That's still more than I'd want to pay for everyday film, but low enough to try them out, to finally see what the fuss is, and see for myself if they are any different from the cheap consumer films I normally use (Superia, Walgreens/Agfa). Yes I got one of each, and this after a friend gifted me with several rolls of Provia!

Apparently focusing on BW for a few months, and this unseasonably balmy weather, has unleashed some sort of pent up color-lust. CAS?
