A Summilux-R 50mm f/1.4 is my "standard" lens on the A7. But I'm nowhere near my image catalog the past few days to pull up an example or two. :-\

I own the special edition M-Hexanon and the F/2.0 M-Hexanon, but won't have the A7 until late next week. Also, picked up the 55mm FE. I have the first edition Hawks Helical, so this may not work with the A7.

Here is the 50mm Hex Limited on the A7r, I have some more that I'll try to dig up, but 1 for now:

Anyone have the A7r and the Nikon 50 1.4 millennium? I would be curious to see how they perform together.

Canon FL 55mm 1.2 NON L wide open. Big and heavy beast on the A7 but 1.2 is special.

Though most of my shooting is now with M9 I will comment:
Both A7s are superb portrait cameras, arguably superior to the M9. In portrait the Sony's edge issues are moot, and their ultra creamy OOF rendering a plus. Not to mention they are far easier to focus wide open with a fast lens.
But I may be overstating... the M9 is quite good with the CV 50/1.1:

That Hexanon limited is a special rendering lens Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for posting everyone.
One thing I seem to notice maybe others could comment.
The output from the sony seems to have a very hard (or high rather) black pointer is this the general preference with this camera?
It looks like some images in this thread have been corrected for this.
I've noticed it in many A7 images. Almost like a dark cellophane film over the images.
Are folks needing to lower the black point/levels in images on a regular basis?
