media cards?

when it comes to the media card, like the sd…when you are buying…do you consider the size or the speed primarily?
the bigger the more expensive and the faster the more expensive…

would you prefer a 32mb card but at 45mbs or a 16 at 90?

I mean I put my Canon EOS cameras on center only AF and single shot drive and still manage to machine gun shots with them. so size for me!

Since I shoot 36mp bodies and not a whole lot of subjects that require rapid shooting, I prefer large cards, up to a certain extent -- 1) cost and 2) avoiding a single point of failure -- so, I'd prefer 2 64gb cards to 1 128gb card, all else being equal.

Depends on the body.

For the M9, a faster card doesn't make a noticeable difference, and some have compatibility problems.

In general I try to use the fastest card practical, and I keep card size relatively small, preferring to carry and use multiple cards. Although I've never experienced card failure, I read about it all the time.

Quicker cards over size. Mainly because at some point you'll need the read/write speed and don't want to lose the next shot waiting for last salvo to write.

More faster cards has always been my MO.
I rarely fill them up before downloading them.
Faster write times means less chance of freeze up.
If traveling maybe capacity would become more important.
SD and Even CF cards are so tiny. Carrying a bunch of them is no issue whatsoever.

Cheers!
