Fastest ever Barnack turnaround!

The fiddly bits are how I ended up with a Canon P. I have never held a Barnack (as I live in a place where there are not all variety of classic cameras lying about to be fondled) but everything I read indicated I'd have a hard time with loading one and really hard time with the squinty RF & VF (given my thick chunky eyeglasses). So I passed on that. I'm still intrigued by the late Canon pseudo-Barnacks (IVSB2 and similar) -- slightly bigger VFs, and then only the arse-wise loading hassle to deal with. Could that be the perfect mix of Barnackian looks and at least slightly better ergonomics?

Leica Tryout Gone Bad

Sorry it didn't workout for you Vics. A fellow I Know here in town is saving a Leica IIIa for me. I take possession in two days. It's been a
long time waiting, but that iiia is just so small. Film loading is not an issue thanks to my two Canon bottom loaders. I know little of it's maintance history and will doughtless need to send it out for a CLA
but will run a test roll through it. Another RFF member shared a nice test routeen on another thread. Hard to wait.😀
