I'm getting finicky about lenses I can't point from the body with my right hand. I've been chasing one of these and finnally found a rough but good shooting copy.

The Nokton is a very strong shooter, but 428 g and long:

322 grams, short and fat. It's far from mint, but zero haze and only scratches on front element from filter, otherwise clean glass- not even cleaning marks. There are some splotches where the black paint has come off or something inside the barrel, but no flakes.

here we go wide open first test shots. Overcast.

Images seem quite decent to me. I'm thinking it's a keeper....

I've got a Canon 50mm f/1.2 that's probably my most used lens on my NEX-3. It's a pretty compact lens, and the speed comes in really handy. My "take out at night kit" is the NEX-3 with an OP/TECH strap and 50mm f/1.2; it's great for taking candids in low light, without tripping that "oh god he's taking my picture with a real camera" switch in people's minds that an SLR would.

Here's mine mounted up:

It's somewhat prone to flare, but it doesn't really bother me; I either adjust my angle when I see it starting to show up in the LCD, or just go with it and make the most of the effect:
