Father

I wish I had one to contribute, but mine are banal snaps. This however is a wonderful portrayal--his distance from the house, all the firewood stacked for what's coming, the folding web-mesh chair, as though you surprised him mid-reverie. If Alice Munro writes a story about Prospero retired to Canada, this is how it might look.

I'll give you this one...my dad last week at breakfast...he wasn't to crazy about this square cup...

My father is one of my favourite photographic subjects. Here's one of my very first pics of him, taken in 1976 or 7. Slide film, cibachrome printed. Perfectly captures his dreaming/planning nature.
