Faulty Bessa? Off center focus patch

Hi, I have just acquired a Bessa R2a body, I do not have a lens yet as I am awaiting it from a different source. I have never used a RF before but have noted that the focus patch is very off-centre compared to its central location in the diagrams in the instruction book.

Do I have faulty camera or will the patch move once I get my lens and mount it?

It's probably because the framelines move, to reduce parallax error, as you focus, but the RF patch doesn't.

My R-D1 was exactly the same, and I did get used to it.

It will move into the centre when you mount a lens, it's fine

Thanks guys, I feel slightly more relieved now. Now I just need to wait for my lens to arrive.
