I use a Sekonic L328, and meter most often in incident mode.
Addendum:
When I don't feel like carrying anything else, the Fotometer Pro app for my iPhone 4S does a very good job.

The Sekonic TwinMate is a great little analog meter with incident and reflective modes. It's the perfect traveling companion for a vintage rangefinder.
I love my TwinMate, but It really is a meter for outdoor and reasonable indoor light. For pretty low light levels it is not sensitive enough. If I know I will need low light readings, I take a Minolta IV or use an iPhone app that works surprisingly well.

I voted for the Twinmate because that's the one I currently have and use. I even made a small addition to it for faster EV read-out, posted long ago at the other forum: http://photo.net/filters-bags-tripods-accessories-forum/00YFiE
If I bought another meter it would be a true spotmeter, but I'm ok as it is.

Thanks, Joakim! I'm sure I'll mod my Twinmate the same way.

良かったね!
I would like to try others. I have a nice sekonic that I never use due to size. Instead, I use the CV II. More often than not, I meter my palm at an appropriate angle to approximate an incident reading and then wing around it.

Have two Sekonics with all the bells and whistles, but I usually wear a shirt with a front pocket and take my Gossen DigiSix, or no meter at all. Very old thread... and nine pages of meter talk..wow!

Can't say it's compact, but my Weston IV fits easily in a pocket, is quick and easy to use, and very reliable.

Vivitar 24 is certainly compact, but I need reading glasses or a little folding loupe to read the numbers.

If that is the Smaller than the Gossen Pilot, and is a CDS meter, I have one, It is very nice for a small RF with Manual settings.

Sekonic auto-lumi L-158 cost me the princely sum of $2 and works a treat.

I have several lightmeters, Minolta spot F, Sekonic Digilite etc but the one I often throw in the bag is this:

Got the Lumu about a week ago, works great and tracks exactly with my Sekonic. Great for when I don't need spot or flash metering, which is 90% of the time for me.

My walk around meter is the Gossen Digisix it's small, accurate and weights next to nothing.

The light meter app on my iPod is pretty good.

My Sekonic Twinmate gets more use than my Gossen Digisix mainly because it's easier and faster to use. That said, I don't use them very much; the times I carry one it's to check my readings mostly.

Seconic twinmate, but I often use a Weston V with Invercone, although it isn't small.
