Favorite Olympus compact? XA and Stylus/mju series

Each of the Stylus and XA cameras have their pros, cons, and differences, but they are all inexpensive compact cameras. Comparing an autofocus, rangefinder, and scale-focus cameras may not make sense, but if you had to choose one Olympus compact to carry, which one would you choose?

I've had two Stylus Epics and an XA. The XA packed up on me early in the day. I gave the Stylus Epic to a close friend to use as a travel camera, then missed it and bought another to replace it, which my daughter and I used. It's since been retired as a pocket snapshot camera first by the Ricoh GR1 and then by the iPhone4s.

Pretty much all the Olympus Epic and XA series are good performers, as is shown by the number of users just on this forum. I've used many of them over the years but due to me not using film much any more, my Olys, along with other compacts are going up for sale. Here's a shot of them I took a couple of days ago before they leave.

My first camera were Stylus Epic with 35/2.8 lens, then XA2. Both are fine cameras, one has better this and another - better tha. But P&S with short zoom like 24-50 or 28-50 wins both - like Fuji Zomm Date F2.8, Fuji Mini Zoom and Konica 28W.

O-Product beats LT-1....in terms of looking diiferent. Otherwise, both have same lens, same specs.

the Olympus LT-1 is a mju-1 in a leatherpackage, but i liked it many years ago. i would vote for it if it was selectable
