Thanks agoglanian and Archlich. I must say whenever I've seen images from the 35mm f2 Hexanon they really stand out, and the transition from in focus to out of focus areas appear very smooth.

I was interested to hear about the differences between the 35mm f2 Hexanon UC version as opposed to the LTM version. Is the LTM version distinctly different?

I have both.. UC and Hexanon LTM 35mm f2 chrome..

let me find some samples first..

I love them both... mostly I use the ltm for bw work.. but lately I think the color is beautiful..
ergonomic wise UC win .. LTM 35mm is made too small and the app and speed are too close together

My 28MM f2.8 Elmarit

It is the smallest and probably the sharpest Leica M Mount lens I own. It is so good I often don't use it because it is not at all challenging to take a great shot with it. I simply adore this lens.
