Featured photographers (link).

Freeplugging your blog? What for? I find it a bit impolite for the rff owner to take his clientele elsewhere without contributing in return.

I think RFF is doing what you want already: click on the "members" link and there you have hundreds of rf users.

I see no conflict. What for? Because readers here might be interested.

I wouldn't get too upset with him. His site is somewhat boring. No real meat to the profiles..

He doesn't want to profile any of us since we aren't big time name photographers..

Thanks Pablito. Well, in all fairness, I did ask a month ago (post#4) for people to let me know if they objected to the link, so I guess some are now expressing themselves. Thank you for your support though.

Peter.

Hi Colyn,

Thanks for your thoughts and sorry you couldn't find any meat on my photography site.

To clarify though, only two of the photographers I've featured are professional, the remainder are photo enthusiasts whose work I've admired... not "big name photographers" as you suggest. Anybody is welcome to submit their images - you included. I do reserve the right not to publish a profile if I don't like your work however... I mean, it is my site after all.

Let me know,

Peter.

Peter, I see no problem with your site or posting about it here. At first glance it seems well designed and with good material. I'll read it in-depth later on.

Anyone is free to promote themselves or anyone else they admire. As long as the information is true and for a good cause, does it matter where it's found? I don't think so. Advertising excessively to catch readers from an ad-driven forum isn't so polite, but in my opinion you are well within the boundaries with this one thread. People will not stop coming to RFF because you started a blog.

Keep doing what you do.
