I have some light leaks when I shot my first film using my Fed 1g. I want to know if someone has seen something similar and can say where the leak is.
The light leak in the middle seems like focused light (the white dots)?
So could this be from the curtain?
The purple stripe seems more as a bottom cover (base plate) leak?
As an additional information the frame after the last frame which is almost total black also have the purple stripe.

The white dots don't appear on the film rebate. This suggests that they are not caused by a body leak. Holes in the curtains may be responsible. I couldn't see the purple stripe.

It may be difficult to see the stripe is purple but it is located just above the 2nd sprocket hole of the frames.

I'd guess pinholes in the curtain... and the stripe: the shutter curtains not capping properly during cocking.

Thank you for the answer. I will do a test where I put one the lens cap during wind to next frame and then I will see how it looks. I expects the purple stripe do disappear by doing this......but probably not the other leak.

Pinholes in the curtain...they're the same on both shots. I can't see the strip either!

You can't se the stripe either? ......is it beacuse you only look at the tumbnail picture? ......if you click at it you will get a bigger image. Here I think it is quite visible?

Is it above the "16A" you mean? I can see it now. Since the curtains have holes I think replacing them would cure this too, if it's caused by a small gap as you wind on.

Yes! .....above "15A" and "16A". I am now quite sure that I need the curtains changed.

You may be able to make a temporary repair but it's better to replace them. Since the FED 1 has a 1-piece bodyshell it's very hard to get light leaks on them unless there are things like screws missing. Pretty much the only possible leaks are from faulty curtains.
