I just recived my FED 2 from Alex in Ukraina. Looks great and seems to be ok.
The finder is difficult to watch into.
I've got a instruction book in russian.
But where to find instruction book in english?

The lever under the rewind knob provides dioptric correction for the viewfinder. Look through it and swing the lever.
There may be instructions in English around. You hardly need them, The pictures will do. Remember to only change the shutter speed after you wind the film. Youn lift the wheel to change the speeds. The collar around the shutter button releases the sprockets so you can rewind the film. The counter is just a friction disk. This link is about film loading

Only use 1/25 with flash.
I think that is about all you need!

Just remember ALWAYS COCK THE SHUTTER BEFORE CHANGING SHUTTER SPEEDS.
Otherwise there isn't much to learn.

You could ruin the shutter mechanism.
Matt Denton has a pdf of the English version of the manual:

I never trim the leaders of the film in my FED 2. From what I gather, that's only really necessary in the FED 1 and other Barnack Leica copies.

OOPS. I'm sure that would be correct and my note was wrong.
