Hi, I'm new to FSU rangefinders, and definitly a fan. I purchased recently a fed 2.
I find it cool, especialy because it doesn't have a leica look at all
anyway, my first roll showed a little issue : the frame bites on the lower perforations (so when you look at the film advancing in the back, it's the upper side that's a bit too low)
is there a way to fix it ?
hummm, I mean, with no great deal, cause I got some kind of a trauma the other day, ruining a perfectly well running fed 3, trying to perfect it more :bang:
and am not keen on buzzing in my fed 2 now
thanks !

Hi and welcome fabrice. What effects do you see in your pictures?
Just a shot in the dark.....maybe cause you have the back off, that's causeing the the take up spool to sit a little lower. I'm sure when you put the back cover on, the pressure will push the take up spool higher and the problem will disappear.

Thanks for your quick interest pals !
well, I did a roll with it, and all the frames were slightly bitting the lower perfo.
When I put away the lens and have a look in B pause, I can see inside the framing, the beginning of the perforations on top (which is actually the feet of the image)
Anyway, I can't show you any pic of it : no scanner, no digicam .... the raw side of the photografic life I live, yep !
