A picture is worth a 1000 words, so I'll let them speak for themselves.
It doesn't appear on all of them but when it does it extends into the top of the sprocket drive holes, I don't think it's a shutter issue. Both the 85 and 50 do it. It did not do it during an entire modeling session, 3rd pic related, but I do have that blotch in the lower right on all my scans. The hair was only on first frame. First roll had none of this stuff.
