I am considering a FED 2D Zarya with a 50/2.8 lens "26m".
The camera, as most of you will know, is the simplified viewfinder version.
What should I know about this model before buying please?
This will be my first, in over thirty years, FSU camera.
Cheers

Not much, other than the fact that it doesn't have a rangefinder. The camera is very sturdy and with a little work (if not clean), very reliable.

Bank on a CLA unless you buy it already done. Almost a certainty that the lens (Industar 26, nice and sharp) will need it. As bugmenot says, it's a FED 2 without the rangefinder. As such, it's a simple and reliable camera (if CLAd).

There's a neat little article on servicing an Industar-26 (and 61) over here at Matt Denton's site which I've used before to get my own I-61 back on track. If you're any sort of handy, it's something you can do yourself quite perfectly.
