So alongside my LF cam project, cross processing projects, digi-fsu project etc etc... here's a new one.
My new old Fed-4 from SCOTFORTHLAD came in a horrid condition. It's luscious. Ugly Fed body, Industar-50 looking like it was used by a miner, and the other little problems like light meter and film counter not working.
Of course a new Fed4 would be pennies on the 'bay but thats no fun.
I'm seriously looking to sort this camera out, and spent an hour this morning on getting the dirt off the lens to begin with!
Does anyone have plans for how the camera works? Any links that may be of help once I begin removing screws from this bad boy? 😕
My ideas are either to sort this camera out and make it work brilliantly, or build a new shell around it, spy style - maybe a hardback book, or a plank of wood 😀
Any help or info from previous projects would be greatly appreciated. I would love to take this project slow and see it through to the end (unlike most of my 'brilliant ideas' 🙄 )
