Hi comrades

Last week, moored in the port of Barcelona, the battleship Potemkin.
I changed with an official, a digital back for fed-2. for two bottles of Laphroig.
It seems that it is a bet of the government, to update the great quantity of cameras of this popular model.
Here you have a few photos of the digital back, and of the battleship Potemkin in the port of Barcelona, done with my updated FED-2 digital.

You can verify that he presents the same problems that the FED-8 and I will need an update of the firmware with the incorporation of the filter IR.
Unfortunately there exists an incompatibility not solved with the models FED-2 blue.

Regards
Albert

Damn ... I had my credit card in my hand and was all set to order! :bang:

I just got my FED 2 digital back. Its great! I fixed that upside-down image problem by bolting my printer upside-down to the ceiling. That was a good suggestion by the FED customer service department.

However its quite difficult to load paper into the printer. It keeps falling out. I've got to figure out how to fix that one.

Ahhh ... the photos from the digital back look grainy and dated ... unnatural color

Look at this picture of the French Special Ops in Afghanistan

Albert,

I hate to break this to you but I think you were "had". Notice the script on the back is in english....I think this is a cheap chinese knock off of the real deal!

BTW...Walmart will be stocking those in time for XMas.

It is rumored to have a text-graphics(ascii?) sensor with over 12 pixels,
a shutter release actually made out of a hind leg of a mule for a sharp kick, a whopping actual shutter speed precisely tuned to be somewhere between 1/5 - 1/150 with optional banding depending on model,a developing tank to develop your sensor image(which contains 1-2 pictures in luscious CGA depending on quality!),runs on kerosene instead of those pesky batteries and has a x97,6 crop factor with dedicated six cyrilic digit coded pinholes. It is rumored to have been made exclusively for KGB(the black market entry price is 27 Imperialist DOllars Or 15 years in Gulag) and comes in a brown bag with yak string covered in lard to prevent rust(a bottle of stolichnaya is provided to get the fat of your hands, face and digestive tract).

has a wide range of accessories:a ever ready case with 12 gauge bolts for protection,a spare bottle of stolichnaya,a dust cleaning fire extinguisher and an ak47 bayonet to get hard dirt of lenses(fight off imperialist scum).

and most important:
In Russia - Feds shoot you!

O My God!!!

Chinese falsification?

I asked this the seller, he answered that was the model for the exportation.
Special series for the members of FSU-Rangefinderforum?

Did you have that picture of the French soldiers in their purple uniforms postprocessed somehow? To me it seems the wrong way round.

What would you pay for this product? I think I would prefer a fed 1 or fed-5 digital back and I would prefer it to have no LCD, but still: 400-500 Euro? If you count the price of film, developing and time spent processing, scanning and post-processing, that would still be really cheap.
